Sizing
Due to its full circle design, this garment is a 'one size fits all' (adult) and will fit most sizes, even beyond our usual range.

Level
This pattern is fairly complex due to the number of pieces.
We recommend beginners try one of our other, simpler patterns first to familiarize themselves with the way we present and explain things, but.... with the right amount of can-do attitude, go for it! 😃

Machine Required
An overlocker / serger makes the process faster and easier but you can just use a regular sewing machine if you don’t have one. Or even sew it by hand!

Fabric
This pattern has been designed for use with stretch knit fabrics.
For best results we recommend medium to heavy weight stretch knit fabrics. Our personal favourite to work with is Polar Fleece.

Pattern Compatibility
This cloak is compatible with:
Circular Neck 'Positively Pixie' Hood Pattern Expansion Pack

Licensing
This pattern is for non-commercial use. Items created using our patterns and tutorials should not be sold without prior permission. For information on commercial licensing click here

What our pattern testers and customers have to say

''LOVE LOVE LOVE this garment! I will make it again in different materials and versions!'' Sarah

‘‘I really enjoyed making this pattern and found it easy to follow your instructions. I like the way you illustrate and explain each step so it is easy to understand the magic! The sleeves are genius and I was unsure of them until I put on the Cloak once made and then I understood the magic! Very clever! I also really like the big pockets and the way that the hood attaches to the collar and the shoulder trim!’’ Rebecca

’’As per usual, I had absolutely no problems with anything.  The pattern is perfect, the instructions are clear as a bell, and the fabric fit perfectly.  Putting the pieces of the pattern together is very easy, as well.  So, absolute perfection!!’’ Sue

‘’Overall I think this a is a great pattern and very easy to follow and I can't wait to swish around in it!!!’’ Cara

‘’I love the cuffs, I make lots of clothes with this style of cuff and these are by far the best I’ve made and the easiest to understand. I usually make them wrong a few times until I work it out, yours are great.
I love the style of the cape as I’m autistic and adhd and so use weighted blankets etc. I have been researching sensory/weighted clothes and so I made my long cape out of a heavier material to see if it would work as a weighted item for my sensory needs…it’s not the right weather for this atm, but it does feel lovely and snuggly and I will def be using for that too.
It feels fab when it’s on, as it always makes you smile and you immediately want to twirl.
The other thing by I love about the patterns is the colouring in pages for all the different options, as when I made one for my mum she coloured it in how she wanted it and it helped her visualise which style she wanted.’’ Rebecca
