This scarf comes in 2 different lengths (short or long)

Level
This pattern is best suited for sewists with a little prior experience. We reccomend trying a couple of our other patterns first to familiarize yourself with our way of explaining things. With the right amount of can-do attitude, however… go for it! 😉

Machine Required
An overlocker / serger makes parts of the process faster and easier but a regular sewing machine is required for some (or all) parts. Or even sew it by hand!

Fabric
This pattern has been designed for use with medium to heavy weight knit fabrics.
This incudes Polar Fleece, Sherpa Fleece, Cuddlesoft, Faux Fur and French Terry, etc.

Pattern Compatibility
There is a pattern expansion pack available for this pattern that gives you all the pieces required to upgrade to limitless possibilities with striped belly, back and spines!

My Absolute Favourite scarf pattern EVER!!!!

I am currently making my 9th dragon scarf! It is a beautiful pattern and makes the most stunning of mystical creature! It is so magical watching this come to life with the additional of sinker eyes. I have also got the expansion pattern for the stripes, which then makes this pattern and excellent scrap buster! We have even made a giant dragon plushie using the pattern as a basis (changed the body to make it plump). So many compliments when wearing these fun scarves! The kids take theirs to school and one even got their own seat in the classroom! They are wonderful! Easy to follow instructions with beautiful illustrations and help on the Facebook group if needed! We Love the dragon scarf!

Dragon Scarf

Making this dragon scarf was the most fun I have had sewing in a long time. The directions were great, leading to a successful project. I look forward to using this pattern again and again. I'm considering lots of different color choices.

Don’t hesitate - buy the pattern!

One year ago, when this pattern was released, I bought it with a lot of trepidation and anxiety. How the heck am i going to make THAT? It looks so complicated and intricate (read: overwhelmingly complex stuff).

I’m here to tell you that even a beginner sewist can make this dragon and make it perfectly on the first try!! There’s a lot of pieces but they are perfectly sized and the instructions are incredibly detailed and clear!

You CAN make this dragon and if you’re on the fence about your abilities - this is your sign to get it and make it! You won’t be sorry and your beautiful dragon will surprise you!!

Feerie Telle patterns are perfect and, unlike every other pattern company out there, the finished product will give you the much-needed confidence to keep making them!

10/10 buy the pattern!

Not as Daunting as it looks!

This is a fantastic pattern, like making a sculpture in fabric. Although the finished item looks complicated, it is very achievable with the clear and carefully illustrated instructions! I love it I can't wait to make more! Perfect for presents for people you really love
